This Saturday, April 30th, real estate brokers will be holding open houses for HomeSteps homes across the Las Vegas area. HomeSteps homes are offered through Freddie Mac’s real estate unit and offers benefits such as buyers closing cost assistance of up to 3.5 percent and a two year limited warranty on qualifying homes.
The open houses will occur between 12 and 4 pm and you don’t even have to commit to purchase that day to receive the buyer’s assistance. All offers for the Las Vegas area homes must be received on or before May 16, 2011, with escrow closed by July 1, 2011.
Some of the homes will come with a two year home protection warranty that covers electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, heating and other major systems and appliances. The warranty also provides discounts of up to 30 percent on the purchase of appliances. Not all homes qualify so ask your broker.
Freddie Mac strives to have the best property and sales standards in the country through HomeSteps, requiring their supplier network to adhere to its HomeSteps Good Neighbor Practices.
The Good Neighbor Practices protects neighborhood values by requiring participating agents to show a clean and maintained home and sell them at market prices.
Additional information can be found on the HomeSteps website, so get out there and find a great home at a great price Las Vegas!
If you don’t live in Las Vegas and would still like to take advantage of the benefits of a HomeSteps home, you can also search for homes on the HomeSteps website. Homes are available across the United States.
